Warner Bros. has announced it will split the film adaptation of the 7th and final installment of the Harry Potter series into two parts. Part one of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released in late 2010, with part two following in May 2011. The 2007 novel Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows weighs in at more than 750 pages, and reports say author J.K. Rowling, the film's producers and Warner Bros. all agreed the film version should be divided into two parts to properly tell the story.
