Bob "Hardcore" Holly is a professional wrestler with World Wrestling Entertainment, who originally debuted in the company with a NASCAR-driver-turned-wrestler gimmick under the name Thurman "Sparky" Plugg, and later Bob "Spark Plugg" Holly.
With the formation of the Hardcore Championship in 1999, Holly changed his name again to "Hardcore" Holly, winning the title on six occasions.
In a match with Brock Lesnar in 2002, he suffered a broken neck from a botched powerbomb, putting him out of action for over a year. Since his return, he has competed on all three brands of the WWE, and won the World Tag Team Championship with Cody Rhodes upon being drafted to Raw.
Holly's temper and stiff style of wrestling has made him one of the most intense and feared WWE "Superstars."
