Happy Neuron is a website that hosts games that play in your browser window which are designed to challenge and stimulate the mind, as opposed to other sites which offer games merely designed to occupy time. The site is run by a variety of doctors and scientists, from computer to cognitive, and has games in five sections devoted to different aspects of mental acuity: Memory, Attention, Language, Executive Functions, and Visual and Spatial. '
When a user opens an account with Happy Neuron, a feature will track both playing speed and scores, and will recommend different games that will help gradually improve the user's mental progress. Although access to the full range of features is not free, they currently offer a free 7-day trial period as well as a free version of one game from each of the five sections.
