Tulsa, Oklahoma, natives Hanson began their career with the teen pop phenomenon "MMMBop." After a flurry of attetion surrounding the Middle of Nowhere album Hanson released This Time Around in 2000. While the album did not achieve the success of Middle of Nowhere, it showed a change towards a more mature, rock-influence in their sound. After separating with Island Hanson established their own label and has released two albums Underneath and The Walk.
