Hannah Teter comes from a family of snowboarders who have a history of making maple syrup. Hannah’s brothers Abe and Elijah Teter have both competed for Team USA in the past, in snowboarding events. Her parents were both avid skiers as well. Hannah has made a name for herself as a humanitarian and a cancer awareness advocate. She is the founder of an organization called “Hanna’s Gold,” which donates the proceeds from Vermont maple syrup to an AIDS stricken village in Kenya. The 2006 USOC Sportswoman of the Year also raises money for Darfur as well as being a spokesperson for the organization, Boarding for Breast Cancer. The twenty-three year old Vermont native has an impressive career already. Besides her gold medal in the 2006 Torino Winter Games, she has won six World Cup Titles and a bronze at the 2005 World Championships]. Hannah has also thrived at the X-Games where she grabbed gold on the Half-pipe in 2004 and a bronze in 2003. Due to her tremendous success in 2006 she was the recipient ESPN’s ESPY Award for the Best Action Sports Female. Even Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream has jumped on the Hannah Teter bandwagon by naming an ice cream after her; the Maple Brownie. Hannah Teter, the snowboarding phenom from Vermont showed how comfortable she can be in the heat as she stripped down to just a white bikini top and a red bikini bottom for the latest edition of Sports Illustrated’ Swim Suit Edition. The blonde bombshell still looks great while posing with a snow cap on her head.
