Hank Locklin

  • Hank Locklin is a country and honky tonk singer-songwriter. His most popular song "Please Help Me I'm Falling" was released in 1960.

  • Career

    Locklin began his career in 1947 as a member of the Four Leaf Clover Boys. In 1953, he achieved his first number one country hit, "Let Me Be the One".

    In 1955 he signed to the RCA Victor label where he worked with Chet Atkins. In the 70's he toured throughout in Europe and Ireland due to his popularity. He has since retired. As of 2007, he is the oldest member of the Grand Ole Opry.
