Hank Blalock is a professional baseball player. He is currently playing for the Texas Rangers of the MLB. After being drafted by the Rangers in the 5th round of the 2001 amateur draft, Blalock made his debut in the majors in 2002. He bats left handed but throws right handed. Blalock had corrective surgery for a condition known as Thoracic Outlet Syndrome which affects the brachial plexus nerves that pass from the arms to the neck.
