The Hanging Gardens, or Ferozeshah Mehta Garden in Mumbai, is one of the most famous parks in the city. People who are seeking for some peace and quietness in this metropolitan city, come here and take in some fresh air.

The park was build in the early 1800’s over Mumbai’s main Reservoir and on the Malabar Hills. Nearby lays the Tower of Silence and creates a great amount of pollution. The Hanging Gardens are open from 05:30 AM until 8 PM. The latest hour visitors are allowed in is at 05:00 PM. The park can be visited open from Monday to Sunday, and is worth a visit all year round, every year of the month.
