Hamilton College

Hamilton College is a private liberal arts undergraduate college with a focus on writing and persuasive speaking. With approximately 1,700 students, of the students admitted, 84% ranked in the top 10% of their high school class.

Originally the Hamilton-Oneida Academy in 1793, the school was founded by Samuel Kirkland and named after U.S. statesman, Alexander Hamilton. Academic concentrations include Anthropology, Art History, Biology, Psychology, English, and History. Hamilton's classes have 10 or fewer students.
