The soundtrack for Halo Wars will be available on February 17, 2009.GamesIndustry.biz: Halo Wars Original Soundtrack Press Release (January 15, 2009) It will come in a two-disc set with the first disc featuring over 50 minutes of music performed by the FILMharmonic Orchestra and Choir Prague. The second disc is a DVD featuring nine additional tracks, surround sound versions of selected tracks, two trailers and a behind-the-scenes video. The music was composed by Stephen Rippy and the soundtrack will be released in digital and retail form by Sumthing Else Music.
Halo Wars Details

Halo Wars is a real-time strategy game set in the Halo universe. The game takes place at the beginning of the war between the humans and the Covenant detailed in the Halo series. Players will control a group of Spartans, the group of elite soldiers the Master Chief was a member of. The Covenant will not be playable during the campaign, but are available in the multiplayer mode.GiantBomb: Halo Wars The Flood, an alien race central to the Halo storyline, will not be in Halo Wars.
