About Halo Wars

Halo Wars is the first real-time strategy game in the Halo series. Rather than being developed by Bungie Studios, who created the Halo universe, Age of Empires developer Ensemble Studios has taken the reigns of the project.
The game takes place before the events of Halo, during the war between UNSC and the Covenant. Players will lead an army of soldiers serving on the "Spirit of Fire," a UNSC colony ship. The Covenant are also playable in the game.
Halo Wars will be available exclusively on the Xbox 360 and currently has a release date of March 3, 2009.Official Site: Halo Wars
