The Beginning
The story behind Halo began around the year 2160. During this time, countries and factions were split with two major movements causing conflict. One movement was a resurgence of Communism, while the other was more like Fascism. These factions sparked the first real interplanetary war of their time, but both factions were stomped out by built up U.N. military forces. In the wake of this war, humanity was united for a period of time.
