Halo 3 is the final installment of the sci-fi action first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie Studios for the Xbox 360.

Continuing the story of John-117 (the Master Chief) and the UNSC's war against the Covenant and the Flood, Halo 3 resumes with the Master Chief returning to the earth following the events of Halo 2.

Halo 3 includes both a single-player campaign and multiple online modes. Players are able to compete against each other or team up in a co-op mode to play through the campaign together. The online portion of the game supports voice chat, clans and a very successful match making system. One of Halo 3's most notable innovations is the theater, which automatically records gameplay and allows players to review the footage with complete control of the camera. This third installment of the franchise follows the Master Chief and arbiter as they return to Earth to prevent the Covenant from activating one of the rings created by the forerunners.

"Suicides" in the context of the Halo games refers to unusual, often impossibly random in-game deaths that take place while playing. In 2009, Jude Kelley and Dan Amrich, an editor of Official Xbox Magazine, recorded a song called "Halo (All I Play-Oh)" as a spoof of Red Hot Chili Peppers' hit "Snow (Hey-Oh)".
