This page is a full written walkthrough for the 2007 first-person shooter Halo 3. The game is the epic conclusion to the Halo trilogy. It picks up just after the end of Halo 2 and once again puts you in role of the infamous Master Chief, a Spartan soldier. It is now up to you to take down The Covenant and put an end to The Flood.

• This is a detailed walkthrough on how to beat Halo 3 for the Xbox 360. The final installment of the epic Halo Trilogy has come to fruition. This walkthrough gives you all the information needed in order to beat the game as well as find all the Skulls and Terminals.

• Y Button - Swap Weapon

• X Button - Use Equipment

• B Button - Melee

• A Button - Jump

• RB - Action/Reload Primary Weapon

• RT - Fire Primary Weapon

• LB - Dual Wield/Reload Secondary Weapon/Select Grenade Type

• LT - Throw Grenade/Fire Secondary Weapon

• Left Analog Stick - Move/Press to Crouch

• D Pad - Push up for Flashlight

• Start Button - Pause

1. Watch the cutscene. After it ends head along the jungle path following the Arbiter and the soldiers.
2. TIP: If at any point you get lost there should usually be a guide arrow on screen to follow.
3. Once you reach the waterfall go right and jump over the tree trunk. Here you'll see some Grunts and a Brute. Start shooting.
4. TIP: Take the Brute down first and the Grunts will panic and start to run around. You can easily pick them off. If your shields become drained find cover until they regenerate (This goes for now and the entire game.).
5. Continue on until a Phantom passes overhead. It will drop off a Brute and some Grunts into the pool of water.
6. TIP: Stay on the high ground as it's the safe bet and, again, pick off the Brute and then the Grunts.
7. Once the enemies are gone jump down to the water. It's time to grab the first skull.
   1. SKULL: Blind - Once in the small pool of water take a right and follow along the side of the cliff. Jump down on to a large rock that juts out from the cliff. Towards the edge of the rock lies the skull. Pick it up. You only need to hold it for a moment and then you can drop it. Head back to the pool of water.
8. Go left and follow the path, taking out a few Grunts as you move. You will eventually reach a cave. Follow it until it ends.
9. After exiting the cave there will be a Grunt on your right resting. The easy thing to do here is walk up to him and use a melee attack to instantly kill him.
10. After you take him out turn around and go through the cave in the wall next to you. When you exit the cave there will be a few more sleeping Grunts. Take them out silently using your melee attack.
11. Continue across the water. Here you will encounter a large number of enemies. Take them out.
12. TIP: Go for the Jackals first, and then wipe out the Grunts.
13. Afterwards follow along the path to the right into the next area where you should see a Brute holding up a soldier as he is about to kill him. Kill the Brute and save the soldier then deal with the Grunts. Go under the bridge and take a left up the ramp.
14. Walk across the tree bridge that the Brute was just on and go into the next area. Eliminate the enemies and enter the cave. You will experience the first of many Cortana flashes (they occur throughout the entire game), and then exit the cave.

1. Drop down from the ledge and start taking out enemies. It is going to be pretty hectic for a bit. You will see and hear a Pelican get shot down.

2. TIP: Use the metal bunkers by the water as cover to take out as many enemies as you can. Use your Battle Rifle if you have one.

3. Move towards the building and take out the enemies as you move forward using the crates as cover.

4. Take a left and you will see a Brute on top of a rock. Take him out and move down the ramp away from the building taking out the last of the Grunts. The Arbiter will tell you to hurry back into the jungle.

5. Follow the path into the jungle and you will encounter a few Jackal Snipers. They are high up on rock ledges or in tress. Keep your eyes up high and move slow. If you're lucky you'll see them before they see you. When you spot one take them down.

6. TIP: If you want to you can pick up a Sniper Rifle here as it can come in handy.

7. This path opens to a wider area with Grunts and Jackal Snipers to your left and a Phantom deploying troops to your right. If you picked up a sniper rifle you can hang back and pick some enemies off, otherwise, head in under the bridge and start killing. There are a lot of enemies so keep your eyes peeled and take cover. Stay close to the rocks on the left and take out the enemies on the right.

8. After the Phantom leaves head towards where it was and look to the right off the cliff. There you will see the downed Pelican.

9. TIP: There is plenty of ammo next to the wreckage.

10. Take the path on the right which leads up to the bridge you just went under.

11. Cross the bridge and continue to take out enemies as you move along to your right. You will reach a cave enter it and pass to the other side. Follow the path until you reach a cliff overlooking a dam.

1. Take out a few enemies from the cliff before you drop down.
2. TIP: Use the partially destroyed building with the hole in the roof as cover to take out the first few enemies, and then continue forward using crates as cover. Be careful there are enemies everywhere. Keep an eye out for the snipers on the rooftops.
3. Hop up to the higher ground on the right and take the stairs up. Look left to see the path across the dam and start shooting enemies. There are a lot so take them out.
4. TIP: There is a Brute Chieftain with a Gravity Hammer on the bridge. He can easily kill you so when he comes at you just keep moving and firing as to avoid his attacks (If you want to have some fun pick up the Gravity Hammer and beat down enemies.). Take note of the two Jackals on the ledge to the right as this point will be important if you want to find the next Skull. Toss grenades to the other side of the bridge, hang back, and shoot. This should keep you relatively safe while taking down these enemies.
5. Once you've killed your way to the other side of the dam take a left and keep killing as there are more enemies down the steps. Use cover as it comes and when they have been dealt with you can go after the next skull.
   1. SKULL: Iron - Go back to the walkway that spans the dam and jump up to the ledge that the two Jackals where on earlier. Follow the rusty grating until you reach two pipes that go left. Jump up onto the pipes and then jump again onto a walkway. Follow the walkway all the way until it ends. At the dead end peek around the beam on the right to find the skull.
6. Enter the building on your left and hold RB to free Johnson.
7. Exit the building to see two Phantoms dropping off enemies. Head back up to the bridge across the dam, take out enemies as they come, and stay alive until the Pelican arrives at the dam.
8. TIP: Use grenades and keep your distance as you fire.
9. When the Pelican arrives head over to it, hold RB to get aboard, and that's the end of the level.
