• The Oribtal Map is a downloadable map for use in multiplayer in Halo 3 on Xbox 360. It is part of the Mythic Map Pack that is expected to be included with the limited edition retail release of Halo Wars and also to be downloadable from the Xbox Live Marketplace around the time of that game's release, which is slated for February or March of 2009.

• About the Map

  Orbital, formerly known as Moonbase Alpha and Space Camp was revealed in the December 2008 issue of Game Informer magazine. Bungie has reported they are working to get these maps available on Xbox Live as soon as possible after Halo Wars' release, but no specific release date has been confirmed.

  According to Game Informer, the map consists of two hallways overlapping each other. Both bases of the map have openable doors that are crucial for objective games. The map also has several locks and switches to disable and enable access to various other parts of the map. The map said to have the aesthetic of a rapidly abandoned space station.Halopedia: Oribtal Level
