There are numerous possibilities for those who wish to travel for a special Halloween experience. Travel options include visiting some of the best haunted houses in America or going to Universal Studios' famed Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando or Hollywood. For families, Disneyland and Disney World theme parks are decorated with cobwebs and jack-o-lanterns, offering "trick-or-treat parties" for youngsters.
For younger children, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World is a popular choice, and is available on selected dates in September, October and November.
