For the goth or punk or just fun loving couple there is a new option for a wedding besides going with the traditional June Wedding. Making October 31 your big day means incorporating it into the already celebrated event known as Halloween. How can you mesh these two seemingly opposite events? Arizona Scream Fest was the setting for one Phoenix couple's Hallowedding. The monsters were presenting the bride and some of the monsters were in the actual wedding party. All the attendants dressed in black and white or black and pink dresses and the best man was in bondage pants and a tux tee shirt. The bridal gown was a satin black and white sleeveless formal gown with black veil.

Each couple can embrace all the aspects of the traditional wedding that appeals to them and also bring in exactly the level of Halloween they want. Fangs, wings and costumes are all options at a Hallowedding.

Hand fasting ceremonies have become less denominational ceremonies that have been known to occur on Halloween. This is done during the ring blessing portion of the ceremony. Pagan in origin, these ceremonies have become a more requested method of joining together over the years.
