22-year-old Jamie Leigh Jones has filed a lawsuit against Halliburton and its former subsidiary, KBR, alleging that she was gang raped in the Iraq Green Zone and then locked in a shipping container for 24 hours with no contact with the outside world. The incident, which occurred in 2005 according to the lawsuit, may never go to trial due to a loophole in U.S. law preventing prosecution of contractors serving in Iraq.
