Half-Life 2: Episode Two is a 2007 first-person shooter game developed by Valve for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. The game is the direct sequel to Half-Life 2: Episode One, and takes place after the concluding events of 2004's Half-Life 2.
Story

The Citadel was effectively destroyed at the end of Half-Life 2: Episode One. Desperate for reinforcements, the Combine create another portal to act as a bridge between their home-world and Earth. When Gordon Freeman and Alyx Vance receive a Combine transmission detailing their plan, they must travel to the Resistance base called White Forest, where the transmission can be analyzed and the portal shut permanently.
