Half Baked is a 1998 comedy about a group of friends who decide to sell Medical Marijuana in order to raise enough money to help bail their friend out of jail. Starring Dave Chappelle and Jim Breuer, the movie follows Thurgood and his good natured (but chemically enhanced) group of friends as they try to thwart the police and a fellow drug kingpin named "Samson" on the way to earning enough money to save their friend. While the movie was originally dismissed as yet another "Stoner" comedy film, it has since gone on to achieve "Cult" status and is generally considered to be Chappelle's breakout role.
