Half and Half is a mixture of half milk and half cream, used in cooking, desserts and mixed drinks. Half and Half is the lightest form of cream. Some people like to use half and half in coffee or on cereal. Half and half cream is widely available throughout the United States in bulk and in individual servings.
If you need to make a substitute for half and half you can mix 7/8 cup of milk and 7/8 tablespoon of melted butter (cooled) to replace it.
