Haim Saban is a Jewish media mogul who is well known for his contributions to pro-Israeli political campaigns. He is a major supporter of the Democratic Party. Financial Success
Saban's first business success came from a recording company he established while living in France. The company became a major player in European recording studios, selling in excess of 18 million records over an eight year period. His next major success came with the creation of Saban Entertainment, creators of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers franchise. His company later merged with the Fox Kids Network owned by Rupert Murdoch, which was subsequently sold to The Walt Disney Company in 2001.
