    The al-Jadriya Bridge crosses over the Tigris River in Baghdad, and is located in an area just outside of the Green Zone in Baghdad. The shooting occurred two hours after the U.S. had handed over control of the Green Zone to Iraqi troops, while U.S. and Iraqi forces were on a joint patrol.
