Gymboree designs, manufactures and sells unique, high quality clothing and other specialized merchandise for children from infant to 12 year old children. They offer a full line of clothing options. Clothing such as matching pant and shirt outfits, dresses and suits. Gymboree is also known for the color palate that they choose to use.

Gymboree has over 600 infant and children retail clothing shops nationwide. Gymboree now has an active E-commerce site which sells all the Gymboree Branded products. Gymboree is also very actively sold on Ebay.

Gymboree Play and Music centers began the Gymboree business in 1976 and after 10 years of success they began an additional venture. In 1986 Gymboree began to manufacture and sell their unique and creative line of infants and boys and girls clothing. Gymboree is also the parent company of Crazy 8 Stores and Janie and Jack Shops. The Gymboree brand is also carried at the Outlet stores all over the country. There are sales that Gymboree holds regularly and these much anticipated sales will even work when you have coupons. History of Gymboree

Gymboree has been in the retail clothing industry since 1986 The clothing is designed to be colorful and is made from comfortable materials and have detailed touches meant to make them unique and more attractive. Gymboree carries a full line of matching accessories to compliment the outfits. Gymboree makes not just fashionable outfits, but they are made to last, they are made to withstand the rugged play of children.

The company had been based in Burlingame, California, since 1980 but considered a move in November 2003. In the 1990's Gymboree was named one of the most family friendly companies by Working Mother magazine. Gymboree started catering to the mother in 2004 when it launched its Janeville concept stores. The stores are focused on women in their late 30s. The stores featured a cottage-like atmosphere reminiscent of the Hamptons or Sonoma, California.
