History of Gymboree Play and Music Classes
In 1976, Joan Barnes was trying to find a safe fun place which featured age appropriate activities for her children.http://www.gymboree.com/our_company/cs_home.jsp?FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302778197&bmUID=1276136305579 She wanted a place where parents and children play together. She was unable to locate such an environment so she started her own program. Collaborating with National Child Development experts and the program directors, each class is supported and enriching for the parent and child.
Classes
Play and Learn classes are set up in age groups such as 0-6 months and 6-10 months.
