Career
After finding commercial and critical success with his first two films, Ritchie directed Madonna in Swept Away, a remake of a 1974 film by Lina Wertmuller. The film received negative reviews and grossed less than $600,000 in the U.S.Box Office Mojo: Swept AwayHis 2005 film, Revolver, met with similar critical vitriol and was only released on a limited basis in the U.S.Rotten Tomatoes: Revolver Ritchie's 2008, film, RocknRolla, is set for release in September in the U.K. and October in the U.S.
