Gustavo Dudamel is a Venezuelan Conductor born on January 26, 1981. Gustavo Dudamel has won the Gustav Mahler Conducting Prize, 2004 and the City of Toronto Glenn Gould Protégé Prize, July 23, 2009. Gustavo has recorded eleven albums since 2005, all on the Deutsche Grammophon label.
Career
Gustavo Dudamel trained as a Violinist studying both the Jacinto Lara Conservatory and the Latin American Violin Academy. Dudamel began conductor training in 1995 and some examples of orchestras he has conducted are:

- Los Angeles Philharmonic,
- City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra
- San Francisco Symphony
Gustavo Dudamel has recorded exclusively for Deutsche Grammophon since 2005 and has recorded eleven albums to date, a number of these albums have been recorded with the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela.
