Football Career
Cifelli began his career playing college football with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He helped the team win national championships in 1946, 1947 and 1949. Cifelli graduated in 1950 and was selected 239th overall in the 1950 NFL draft by the Detroit Lions.ESPN.com: Cifelli Helped Irish Win 3 National TitlesPlaying for the Detroit Lions, Cifelli helped the team win the league championship in 1952, then joined the Green Bay Packers for one season. Life After Football
