Attack the Fort
- YouTube: GUN Attack the Fort Part 1 (Time: 10:09)
- Colton is transported to the fort and he is in Blackfoot war paint. Don't bother shooting the fort guards. Simply run for the canoes on the river. The cannon kills Colton in a couple shots if he stops.
- Use the rifle to shoot guards from the boat. The canoes are moving to the cave entrance. Charge the cave in quick-draw mode to kill the seven guards waiting inside. Move up the garbage chute ladder.
- Kill the two guards in the conversation and wait for a third to run out a nearby building. A group of five guards appears as Colton walks past the first building. Use quick-draw to kill all the guards immediately.
- Move through the nearby barracks to kill three guards. A fourth guard is on the Gatling gun in the middle of the yard. Hop on the Gatling gun to kill the men that run into the yard.
- Follow the Indian up the ramp in the southeast corner. Kill the men in the bunker and use the first cannon to shoot the platforms below with Gatling guns. A couple shots per platform should do it.
- Shoot the three guards on the walkway after the door bursts open. Grab the second cannon and fire shots at Hollister's boats. Move outside after the second door bursts open. Shoot the guards on the platform and the guards on the ground to the left.
- Move to the ground level and wait for batches of guards to be released from the nearby side rooms. They arrive in groups of threes. Use the cover in the yard and quick-draw mode to kill the entire lot.
- Grab the cannon and shoot the ammo supply. This action blows a hole in the first wall. Move through the new passage to shoot the four guards in the open area. Toss a stick of dynamite into the room on the right. Move inside after the explosion and use quick-draw to clear the room.
- Load up on health and ammo before moving upstairs. The key to ending this battle quickly is strafing between the pillars and throwing dynamite into the cannon's bunker. Don't bother shooting the dynamite in midair though.
- TIP: There are a couple boxes of unlimited dynamite at the bottom of the ramp.

- CUTSCENE: Colton, Soapy and the Blackfoot leader are seen landing on the riverbank. A stick of dynamite rolls to their location and blows the Blackfoot Indian to the ground. Hollister is screaming in the distance.

Battle at the Steamboat
- YouTube: GUN Battle at the Steamboat (Time: 10:05)
- Hollister can be an extremely tough boss battle unless you follow a simple strategy. He can't shoot what he can't hit at hip level. Look for a rock at the northwest end that covers two thirds of Colton's body.
- Strafe around the rock and fire shotgun blasts at his head. He will walk around the rock endlessly. As long as the rock is between Colton and Hollister, Colton is safe from Hollister's painful blasts.
- Hollister runs off and attaches some dynamite to his body. Drop off the ledge to the northwest and look for Hollister on the right. He does a suicide charge at Colton. Use quick-draw and back up into the water for safety.
- CUTSCENE: Colton reclaims Ned's rifle and the Blackfoot Indians take leave. Colton leaves with Soapy to find the shipwrecked steamboat on the shore.
- NEW WEAPON: Ned's .69 Caliber Ferguson has excellent range, a fast reload rate and unbelievable stopping power.
- Approach the steamboat and Magruder's riders pop out to greet Colton. Back up to the river and pop shots with the new rifle. With the upgrades already purchased, the rifle is powerful enough to kill a horse in one shot.
- Fire at the ten riders as they swarm the area. Use health if necessary. Head to the safe after the battle.
- CUTSCENE: Colton and Soapy approach the safe. Soapy cracks it and Colton pulls out a golden cross. Reverend Reed shows up and demands the cross. Colton tosses the cross back in the safe and closes the door. Reed starts firing and Colton dives for cover.
- Reed's armor is a real pain to break through. Hop on a horse from the previous riders and start chasing him around the clearing. Charge Reed and fire rifle shots as his head. Use quick-draw to finish the job when close enough.
- NEW WEAPON: Stolen from the body of one of Magruder's Men, the Calvary Sword has excellent range as well as damage potential.
- CUTSCENE: Colton shoots Reed in the leg and he limps away. Reed threatens damnation of Colton's soul if he fires. Colton says "This is for Jenny" and blows a hole in Reed's head with the rifle. Colton meets back up with Soapy to collect the golden cross. The scene shifts to Magruder pissed off that the cross is lost to Colton.
