  • Plot Synopsis

    Gulliver's Travels tells of the adventures of Lemuel Gulliver, a former surgeon, sea captain and explorer. In the first part, Gulliver is captured by a nation of miniature humans after his ship wrecks. In the second part, Gulliver is discovered by a giant and kept captive, eventually being purchased by the queen for amusement. The third part describes a series of strange stops after being deserted by his crew including the flying island of Laputa, Japan and a magician's home. In the final part, Gulliver finds himself in a land ruled by horses and populated by devolved humans.
