  • Story

The player rises to fame as an up-and-coming rocker performing songs for fans.
  • Gameplay

The player begins the game by creating a musician or choosing a template of a rocker. If the player creates his own rocker, he can pick the hair, costume and age. The game also allows the player to customize their microphones, drums or guitars. Players can download their own music or use a preset song from the game. During a song, the player can switch from the guitar or the drums at will without having to restart the song. There is also an "Easy Rhythm" guitar difficulty which lets children play along in the game with simple notes and easy beats. There will be boss battles against famous musicians included, too. The "Advanced Studio" mode allows players to create new and original songs one beat at a time and allows others to rate these songs. Some songs in the game are Rebel Yell by Billy Idol and Everlong by Foo Fighters.IGN: Guitar Hero World Tour Preview (June 19, 2008)
