• Guitar Hero: On Tour is an adaptation of the popular Guitar Hero series for the DS. Instead of the usual full-sized guitar controller, Guitar Hero: On Tour utilizes a smaller "Guitar Grip" controller that plugs into the GameBoy Advanced slot. When playing, the DS console is placed upright and a special stylus pick is used to strum the on-screen guitar strings. The game features six different playable characters and over 20 songs.

• Gameplay

  Core gameplay is similar to the previous games in the series. As notes scroll down the top screen, players press the corresponding fret button and strum the touchscreen using a special pick-shaped stylus to score points. When a series of notes have been hit successfully, they will gain 'star power'. Star power doubles the score until the meter runs out.
