Guitar Hero Metallica Trophies

This page provides information about the trophies available in Guitar Hero Metallica, the Guitar Hero game that focuses entirely on the career of the heavy metal band, Metallica.

Guitar Hero: Metallica is the second title in the Guitar Hero series to focus entirely on the career of a single rock band. Unlike Guitar Hero Aerosmith, which was released in 2008, the game doesn't follow the career of the band chronologically. Since many of Metallica's earlier songs are pretty intense and difficult to play, the game's developers feared players would be alienated if they encountered the songs too early.

Twenty-eight Metallica songs are featured in the game, as well as 17 additional songs that are either personal favorites of the band or performed by groups who have opened for Metallica in the past.

The look and attitude of each individual band member is carefully reproduced in the game. There is even a second kick pedal available for purchase so players can bash on double bass drums like drummer Lars Ulrich.Those who preordered the game from GameStop received the second pedal for free.
