About the Game
Guitar Hero: Metallica is the second game in the Guitar Hero series to focus entirely on a single band. The game features 28 Metallica songs, and 17 songs that are personal favorites of the band or performed by groups who have opened for Metallica in the past. Unlike Guitar Hero Aerosmith, which was released in 2008, Guitar Hero: Metallica doesn't follow the band's career chronologically. This is because many of Metallica's earlier songs are pretty are pretty intense and could be intimidating if encountered too early.Guitar Hero: Metallica is fully compatible with the Guitar Hero World Tour instruments and most other rhythm game controllers. Drummer Lars Ulrich uses double bass drums, and a second kick pedal can be used to replicate this. Those who preordered the game from participating retailers received the second pedal for free.Official Site: Guitar Hero: Metallica
