About the Game

Guitar Hero: Metallica is fully compatible with all Guitar Hero World Tour instruments, as well as most other rhythm game controllers. The game is compatible with use of dual kick pedals to emulate the style of drummer Lars Ulrich, who uses double bass drums. Expert Plus mode adds a second drum track to the board and cranks up the difficulty level for hardcore drummers.

There are Metallica-themed Battle Mode attacks. "Fade to Black" completely blacks out the other player's opponent's fretboard, "Trapped Under Ice" freezes his whammy bar, and "Ride the Lightning" overloads the amp.

In addition to showcasing 28 Metallica songs and 17 tracks from guest bands, Guitar Hero: Metallica features bonus content like commentary, behind-the-scenes footage, videos and pop-up trivia.
