Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is the third installment in the popular Guitar Hero music video game series, and the fourth title in the franchise. Published by Activision and RedOctane, and developed by Neversoft, the game was released worldwide for the Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in October 2007. The Nintendo Wii cheats for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock were revealed and are listed below.

The gameplay is similar the previous games of the series. The player uses a guitar-shaped controller to simulate playing either the lead, bass or rhythm guitar parts in the included rock songs.

In addition to the Single-Player Career Mode, Guitar Hero 3 includes a Co-Op Career Mode and competitive challenges that puts the player against other players as well as in-game characters. The Wii version also includes an Online Multiplayer Mode.

Seventy master track titles are included in the basic game. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions offer the ability to download additional songs.

Tom Morello (of Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave), Slash (of Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver) appear in the game as playable characters and as opponents.
