Guerrilla is the second film of Steven Soderbergh's Che series, a two-part biopic about Ernesto "Che" Guevara. While the first part of Che, titled The Argentine, focuses on Guevara's "successful insurgency" to overthrow Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista, Guerrilla chronicles Che's 1967 "failed revolt" in Bolivia. The campaign, during which "everything went wrong," resulted in Guevara's execution. The New York Times: Soderbergh and Che, Provocateurs (May 23, 2008)
