Guardians of GaHoole is an animated film adaption of the bestselling children's fantasy book series by Kathryn Lasky. The story revolves around a group of barn owls, and their magical adventures in an alternate universe. When their tranquil forest is invaded by evil, the owls must band together and fight to preserve the peace.

The film, which is said to be on the fast track for production, will mark the animated feature film debut of 300 director Zack Snyder.
