  • Planting Strawberries

    Before you plant your strawberry bed, you should test the pH of the soil. Strawberries grow best in soil with a pH of between 5.8 to 6.2.     There are several different ways to plant strawberries. To plant using the matted row system, space strawberries about 18 inches apart, with up to 52 inches between rows.
