Groove Armada is an electronic music duo from England. Composed of Andy Cato (AKA Andrew Cocup) and Tom Findlay, Groove Armada formed in the mid-1990s. The duo began producing tracks and started their own club, also called Groove Armada. In 1997, the released the track "At The River," which sampled Patti Page's "Old Cape Cod" and became the duo's biggest hit, having been included on numerous chill-out compilations since its release.
Since that time, Groove Armada has continued to record. Their tracks have been used in numerous advertising campaigns, movies and video games, and the duo has collaborated with such artists as Neneh Cherry, Mutya Buena and Richie Havens. They host semi-regular club nights in London and host an annual music festival under their Lovebox banner.
