  • Grindhouse is a double-feature film released in American theaters on April 6, 2007. It is directed by Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino. The two movies are presented in a low budget exploitation film style. The film utilizes a grainy, spliced, aged look to replicate the feel of the period. When the film was first presented in theaters fake trailers to other exploitation films would play before each film.

The plot concerns a deadly gas, code named Project Terror, that transforms the inhalant to deformed monsters bent on destruction. A small group of townspeople attempt to find safety while running from the zombie-like monsters, and the military who is seemingly trying to contain the exposure.
