In GRID, there are more than 30 achievements a player can reach while competing in races in the game. Some of the tasks range from crashing into two other vehicles, or just racing one time. Each achievement has a point total, ranging from 5 points to 50 points. The biggest task is to earn the Legend ranking in the Xbox Live game mode, which gives a player 50 points. One task requires a driver to race at least 1,000 miles, thus earning 40 points.

Background
GRID is a racing game that focuses on just racing instead of tuning cars, pit stops and upgrading vehicles. The tag line is, "It's all about the race." The game was developed by Codemasters, which is the same company that did Create and Race for the Nintendo DS. Although the game is released June 3, there's a demo available on the official grid site for the PC. Metacritic gave the game a score of 88. -
