  • GRID is similar to racing games such as Gran Turismo 5 Prologue in that it is more realistic than action-packed. The cars featured are the most powerful racing cars, ranging from classic to current and featuring circuit or drift cars. The tracks are based on real life courses and championships, in addition to street races. You will travel from Europe to US cities and even to Japan where you will become a part of the drift racing circle. This game was created using Codemasters Ego Engine.

    The games main focus is racing. You can become involved in various types of racing from regular circuit based tracks to drift racing depending on your area. The game can be played with up to 12 people. The AI in the game varies in their aggressiveness depending on difficulty level, however they are programmed to take act like real drivers. The cars also behave as they would in real life with drift cars feeling looser and more apt to swing their rear ends out. Currently there is a playable demo available on the official grid site for the PC.
