Geography of Grenada
Grenada is one of the largest islands with most of the population living in the major towns of St. George's, Grenville, and Gouyave. A mountainous terrain with rich soil and volcanic activity make up part of the island with beautiful waterfalls streaming down the mountains. It's a tropical temperature location with humidity and rain. While this climate and geographical location would be prone to hurricanes, Grenada has only experienced three hurricanes in fifty years, the most serious being Hurricane Ivan.
