Greg Grunberg is an American actor who has appeared on television and in films. One of his first major roles was as Eric Weiss on the hit ABC show Alias starring Jennifer Garner, but Grunberg had made appearances on TV shows for years before that. Some of his small screen credits include NYPD Blue, Lost, House M.D., Baywatch, Felicity and The Dead Zone. In 2006 he debuted as telepathic Matt Parkman on the NBC series Heroes. Grunberg's career hasn't been limited to TV, however. He has played roles in films such as Hollow Man, Mission: Impossible III, The Lady Killers, and Austin Powers in Goldmember.
Grunberg's son, Jake, has epilepsy. He underwent brain surgery to remove the area of the brain that had the most epilepsy activity. The surgery was said to have been very successful.People: Epileptic Son 90 Percent Better... (April 1, 2009)

Charity
Grunberg plays drums in Band From TV, an all-celebrity music group that plays shows to raise money for charity. Other members of the group include Hugh Laurie and Jesse Spencer of House and James Denton and Teri Hatcher from Desperate Housewives. Because his son has epilepsy, Grunberg chooses to raise money for the Pediatric Epilepsy Project. -
