Early Life
Gregory Derayle Buckner was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, on September 16, 1976, and he went on to attend University Heights Academy. He continued his education at Clemson University. Pro Career
Buckner has played for several franchises throughout his career, including the Dallas Mavericks, Philadelphia 76ers, Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves. His best season was during the 2004-2005 campaign, when he started 41 games for the Nuggets and averaged 6.2 points.
