Better Business Bureau Reports
The Better Business Bureau conducted an investigation and attempted resolutions for complaints lodged against the business selling Green Tea Extreme, Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc. As a result of the complaints and the investigation into them, the BBB rated the company with an “F” rating based on 2900 complaints filed with 528 of those not responded to. Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc, located in Arizona, reached a settlement with the Attorney General’s Office to pay $1.38 million in fines and restitution for the lawsuit alleging deceptive online sales practices. The Better Business Bureau lists the website for Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc as www.fortune5marketing.com. This website no longer makes mention of Green Tea Extreme. The sixteen websites noted on the BBB rating page for other products handled by Central Coast Nutraceuticals, Inc also show same statement as the Green Tea Extreme website, stating the resource does not exist.
Green Tea Extreme Ad
Promoting the product, this video captures screen shots of Green Tea Extreme and shows the trial offer which created multiple bank charges for many. The video shows what appears to be endorsements from Oprah but Oprah’s website states she has never endorsed the product. Oprah has filed lawsuits against products using her name as an endorsement without her consent.
