Wrong Day to Mess with the Ecosystem
You picked the wrong day to mess with the Ecosystem. This Audi Green Police Super Bowl Ad featuring the Cheap Trick remake of Dream Police emphasizes the better choice to make for the environment when shopping
Kermit isn’t the only one who thinks it is good to be green. German auto maker Audi airs their Green Police Super Bowl Ad during Super Bowl XVIL. The ads highlight how it’s good to be green through the use of Green Police enforcing rules and reminding people ways to be nice to the environment.
Audi Enviro-Facist Green Police Ad Controversy
Ads spurred early controversy based on their likeness to the Nazi German Order Police who were not just traffic cops handing out tickets or advice but played an active role in sending Jews, Poles, and Gypsies to concentration camps. Audi’s preparation before releasing the ads included running them past the U.S. Holocaust Memorial and Museum and the Anti Defamation League to insure they would not be offensive to the Jewish community.
Audi and Cheap Trick for the Green Police
To boost the Green Police Super Bowl Ads even more, Audi worked with Cheap Trick for a remake version of the hit song Dream Police. The Cheap Trick song is featured with a Green Police Audi A3 TDI Clean Diesel Super Bowl Ad.
