Plot Synopsis

Green Eggs and Ham follows Sam I Am as he attempts to get his friend to try green eggs and ham, a meal that Sam finds delicious. The stubborn friend refuses to take even a bite, proclaiming that he does not like them, in various different locations and settings. By the end of the story, Sam finally convinces his friend to taste the dish. Upon taking his first bite, Sam's friend realizes that he really does enjoy the taste of green eggs and ham.

Critical Reception

Green Eggs and Ham is widely considered to be on of the best children's books of all time. Despite being almost 50 years old, the book is still very popular today and is generally recommended for children in elementary school.
