Greek Tourism Chief: Visit Greece, not Turkey

On a state visit to Israel in September of 2010, the Greek Tourism Minister Pavlos Geroulanos was aggressive in inviting Israeli tourists over to Greece. Greece and its isles exclusively uses the euro as legal tender, making Greece a generally more expensive destination than neighboring Turkey. The Greek official asserted that, despite this, Greece has so much to offer than Turkey not just in terms of culture and tradition, but also in touristic activities.http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3951046,00.html
